Intense Pulsed Light

(IPL)

Dr. Zimmerman, a board certified physician, has been utilizing IPL Photo Rejuvenation for more than 20 years in Cincinnati and our patients continue to show lasting results. An IPL treatment introduces collagen back into the skin to achieve a brighter and clearer complexion.

What is IPL?

Intense Pulsed Light is a facial rejuvenation ideal for treating rosacea, broken capillaries and discoloration. The redness and flushing of rosacea can be reduced 80-90%. It can be used to treat the full face, neck, chest and even hands.

The treatment uses bursts of high intensity light to target the lower layers of skin and remove underlying causes of redness and discoloration. It is an outpatient procedure that may require multiple sessions for maximum results.

The light energy stimulates the production of collagen. As the new collagen forms, it softens the appearance of aging skin, fine line and wrinkles are decreased and the redness associated with rosacea can be dramatically reduced. Treatments start at $200 per session and we provide discounts for patients that have subsequent treatments.

* Patients must avoid sun exposure to the treated area 7 days prior to the service *
